ADVICE TO OLDER PEOPLE

People are living longer and the number of elderly people in this country is increasing.  Most are able bodied and of sound mind but many will at some stage become dependant upon others and some unable to make their own decisions.

We encourage our clients to prepare for their later years so that they may be approached with peace of mind and as much independence as possible.

Such preparation can involve many aspects of the law including the appointment of an Attorney to act in the event of incapacity, management of your financial affairs, Inheritance Tax planning, obtaining DSS benefits, preparation of your will and, in suitable cases, trusts.
